A Passion For Growth,
Leadership & Impact

From a young age, I discovered a deep-seated passion for helping others improve their health and wellbeing. As a teenager working in a healthcare environment, I found great fulfilment in going the extra mile to assist clients in identifying the most appropriate solutions to their health concerns. Over time, this passion evolved into a broader commitment to holistic health and wellness, which inspired me to pursue a career in pharmacy.

After recognising my dedication to community healthcare, I joined the Greater Accra Chapter of the Ghana National Licensed Chemical Sellers Association (GNLCSA). Over the following 16 years, I held a series of leadership roles within the association, including District Secretary and later Chairman of the Ashaiman District, Regional Assistant Secretary, and eventually the Association’s representative to the Ghana Union of Traders Association (GUTA).

Driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact at the grassroots level, I led the formation of an outreach team within the Ashaiman District. This multidisciplinary team, comprising nurses, pharmacists, laboratory technicians, and volunteers, delivered vital health education to underserved communities. I also spearheaded efforts to mobilise licensed chemical sellers across rural Ghana, successfully encouraging their integration into the GNLCSA network.

My commitment to advancing healthcare delivery led me to pursue academic and professional development in both clinical and managerial fields. I earned a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, following the completion of a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree from Central University and an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business. Earlier in my career, I obtained diplomas in Pharmacy Technology and Medical Office Assistance from Penn Foster College, USA, in 2000 and 2001 respectively.
In addition to these core academic achievements, I undertook several specialised certifications to broaden my expertise and global perspective. These include an International Certificate in Paediatric; an Executive Certificate in Global Leadership, Management and Governance; a Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership and Management in Health; and the Ghana Professional Pharmacy Qualifying Examination Certificate (GPPQE), obtained in June 2014.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I became a Certified Vaccinator through the Ghana College of Pharmacists and was honoured to serve as a trainer of vaccinators. I remained fully committed to supporting our communities through one of the most challenging periods in recent public health history.
Throughout my journey, my guiding motivation has been a steadfast belief in the power of accessible, compassionate, and expert healthcare to transform lives. My work continues to be shaped by this conviction, as I strive to contribute meaningfully to the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities alike.
